A strobe does well with a long exposure.

Rectangles in NYC

Apartment building on the West Side of Manhattan from Highline Park. This park is built on a decommissioned elevated train platform. One of the coolest greenways I've ever seen. Great views of the city.

Peter McManus Cafe, Manhattan

Great neighborhood feel in this Chelsea bar that is one of the oldest family owned and operated watering holes in NYC. Super nice regulars offered to watch my bags while I went to the restroom and talked to me about the local neighborhood atmosphere. I'll be back there for sure. The bartender will remember me. Great reuben and a few Brooklyn IPAs.

BlueBlur

I really like the light, colors and composition of this long exposure. I can't even remember what the original subject matter was, but no matter.

Green + Blue

A photo that I snapped under the train line in downtown Charlotte while in town teaching green jobs at the Urban League of the Central Carolinas. I felt that the green and blue components of the image were interesting.

Land of Skies

The different iterations of the sky over Western North Carolina is nothing short of breathtaking. I'll never get tired of the variations due to time of day, season, weather, pollution levels, etc.

Play the Hand That's Dealt.

Image of my friend Victor's hand. Grabbed this shot while grabbing a bite of sushi on a trip to Wilmington. Victor has a Lens Baby composer that I tried out a bit. Fun little lens.
