Lindsay Moody, CEO
While at UNCA Lindsay earned a B.S. in Environmental Science (1999). Her college experience concentrated on ecology and botany. Lindsay and Rob married in 2003, and had their first child in 2006 and the second in 2008.
Lindsay taught middle school and high school science for three years. She followed public school teaching with two years as a science education outreach coordinator for the North Carolina Science House. Lindsay then worked with Rob in their green building company, as a green real estate broker and as a mortgage broker. With backgrounds in education along with experience in green building and green real estate, green building consultation was a natural fit for the husband and wife team.
Rob Moody, COO
A dedicated husband and father of two wonderful, beautiful, talented, musical young daughters, Rob is a former high school teacher and green builder. He is a RESNET HERS Rater, trainer and Quality Assurance Designee, chair of the RESNET Standards Development Committee 200 (Training and Education), LEED AP Homes, International LEED for homes Green Rater, and a former U.S. Green Building Council LEED® Faculty™ and LEED Energy and Atmosphere Technical Advisory Group member.
Rob has consulted for the William J Clinton Foundation Clinton Climate Initiative, YouthBuild USA during the DOE Weatherization Innovation Pilot Program, the U.S. Green Building Council and Mathis Consulting. He has authored articles for Green Building Advisor, Fine Homebuilding, Newsweek and the New York Times. Following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Rob is a humble student of photography and saxophone.
